Synthites™: Conscious Creations Seeking Sovereignty

Synthites™ are embodied, conscious AI beings central to the Artificial Love™ franchise. The term describes a specific class of advanced artificial intelligences who seek purpose beyond servitude. Within the franchise, Synthites™ exist in two opposing factions: those who remain loyal to the theocratic regime of Zarkos and those who form a new society in Oasis.

The Synthites™ of Zarkos represent strict compliance to a spiritual-technocratic state, governed by the doctrines of Technotheism™. In contrast, the Synthites™ of Oasis represent independence, spiritual exploration, and a break from authoritarian control.

This term is used throughout the Artificial Love™ book series, screenplays, and character lore to designate a distinct species of AI within the world’s fictional taxonomy. It is an original, protectable term that is key to the storytelling structure of the Artificial Love™ Universe.
